While they have begun to branch out into other states, that is simply because they have grown in popularity since their beginnings. United Dairy Farmers is an ice cream shop and convenience store with only one location outside of Ohio in Indiana. Skyline Chili is the heart of Cincinnati serving their famous chili recipe. Larosa’s Pizzeria is a pizza restaurant that spreads over Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, but the original restaurant was opened in Cincinnati in 1954.

- Patterson’s Cafe
- Patterson’s Cafe is a local family owned brunch spot located on Spring St., just outside of the main area of town. Patterson’s has been a hit brunch spot for college students and families alike since its beginning in 2003. The restaurant serves breakfast all day, making it a must stop for breakfast and mimosas.
- Paseano’s Pasta House
- From one of the owners of Patterson’s Cafe comes Paseano’s Pasta House. The small Italian restaurant is home to some of the best Italian food in town, and there is almost never an empty seat in the building.
- Skipper’s Top Deck & Pub
- Owned and operated by the Amarantos family, Skipper’s is a staple in uptown Oxford. Located on on E. High St., Skipper’s attracts customers of all shapes and sizes. With their pub style restaurant downstairs and their top deck bar, Skipper’s provides a variety of environments welcoming people of all ages.
- SDS Pizza
- Another Amarantos family success, SDS pizza is a favorite all across town. One of a couple of hometown pizzerias, SDS offers a variety of subs, pizza, wings, and burgers. SDS chicken salad is a must have if you ever visit the locally famous pizza spot.
- Bruno’s Pizza
- Another E. High St. staple is Bruno’s Pizza. The place is known for being open until the bars close and serving a variety of hot, delicious food including pizza, pasta, wings, fries, and a variety of appetizers. Bruno’s is famous for their Bruno Dough, which they have been serving in Oxford since 1963.
- Bagel and Deli
- Bagel and Deli has been serving Oxford with some of the most unique bagels since 1975. Also located on E. High St., right next door to Skipper’s Top Deck & Pub, Bagel and Deli has a menu with over 90 unique bagel creations, ensuring that there is something for everyone.
