Talawanda School District

Talawanda School District is comprised of three elementary schools, Bogan, Kramer, and Marshall, a middle school, and a high school. The district covers all of Oxford’s city limits, and then some. Talawanda homes some of the best and brightest, working hand in hand with Miami University to offer free and reduced college courses to help students get ahead in their studies without accruing the debt that generally comes with attending university. Serving just over 3,000 students from the Oxford area, Talawanda aims to create a collaborative and inviting community for all students to feel welcomed.

Union County School District

Union County neighbors Butler County, which is home to Oxford. Union County-College Corner students work closely with students more local to the Oxford area, and are given separate opportunities in and around the Union County area. Students are given the opportunity to take courses at Ivy Tech, a local college in Richmond, Indiana. This gives students the opportunity to earn college credit that can be transferred to universities around Indiana and Ohio.

Hamilton City School District

Hamilton City School District is home to more than triple the amount of students as Talawanda School District. Although the school is much larger, it holds a lot of the same goals as Talawanda. The school just underwent a large remodel in terms of staff and ideals. Hamilton focusses on the individual student in the hopes of creating well rounded children. Hamilton also partners with Miami University to give students the opportunity to further their education before graduating from high school.
