Oxford Farmer’s Market


The Oxford Farmer’s Market houses vendors from all over town selling a variety of fruits, vegetables, and other goods. Every Saturday morning, year round, vendors and residents get together to support one another by buying goods from small, local businesses. The farmer’s market is a great place to broaden your horizons and support other members of the community.

 

 

Red Brick Friday

 

Red Brick Friday’s are a big hit that attract people from all around Oxford. On Friday, all of High St. is closed to invite businesses out into the street to play music, sell food, and set up shop for people to walk up and down the street enjoying music and shopping. Oxford also partakes in the DORA, designated outdoor refreshment area, where you can purchase drinks from participating businesses and enjoy them while walking around uptown and enjoying the shopping experience.

 

Apple Butter Festival

The Apple Butter Festival held at Hueston Woods State Park is an annual seasonal event put on to show case local vendors and their creations as well as locally picked apples, apple cider, and apple butter. The festival has vendors for everything from jam to wood carvings to handmade jewelry. The festival also showcases an exhibit of antique farm equipment in the old barn on the property. Put on by the Oxford Museum Association, the festival is always a huge hit and attracts people from Oxford as well as neighboring towns.
