Throughout the past few weeks of writing poems and expressing my emotions through various forms of poetry, I have discovered that this art form exceeds at freedom of expression and creativity. All of these poems are representative of various memories, senses, and feelings. During the semester, I used whatever was going on around me at the time to develop each poem. These poems were not created without challenge in fact, conforming to proper forms of poetry proved to be a greater challenge than originally considered. Not only do the challenges of every day life impede upon creative challenges but, the various rules of poetry create unique challenges upon writing each piece.
