German Alumni

  • Teagan Sage, who graduated with highest distinction in August 2020 with a minor in German, has been named as a Fulbright semifinalist. A Fulbright fellowship is one of the highest academic honors a college graduate can receive. To be chosen as a semifinalist is a high honor.

Spanish

  • Rebekah Smith is one of two IU Southeast students named as a Fulbright semifinalist, along with Teagan Sage. Smith is a senior double majoring in international studies and Spanish.   • Alexina Wilson, BA Spanish 2014, is the head coordinator for volunteers at the Backside Learning Center at Churchill Downs.
