Fine Arts

  • IU Southeast’s Art Department quickly adapted to finishing the spring 2020 semester online. The department was faced with many changes and challenges, but because the Fine Arts Department is such a tight-knit community, these obstacles were met with communication, student engagement, and support.

  • Professor Susanna Crum’s Introductory Printmaking students held a celebration at the Spacelab Gallery for the opening of Earth to Sky, a collaborative installation of hand-printed wallpaper. Traditional and digital printmaking techniques were used, including the Fine Arts Department’s computer numerical control (CNC) router to design and create repeated patterns.
