Music

The IU Southeast Music History Research Award is a prize intended to honor superlative writing and research. This award is presented each spring to the student whose paper is deemed to be of exceptional quality in terms of research, construction, and originality. Such a paper needs to go above and beyond the regular criteria expected of an undergraduate student work.

Vanessa Hall has won the award two years in a row. Vanessa won last year for her entry entitled ‘Max Brunch’. This year’s winning entry is entitled ‘Bluegrass: Nothing New under the Blue Moon of Kentucky’. Congratulations Vanessa!
