  • International Education Week in November is a national event to celebrate and broaden our global citizenship nationwide. To celebrate, the office of Study Abroad and Global Awareness (SAGA) hosted a series of events on campus. ‘Films from Around the World’ was hosted in part by IU Southeast’s Modern Language Department. “Persepolis” was hosted by Dr. Charlie Pooser; “Kebob Connection” was hosted by Michael Hutchins; and “Ixcanul!” was hosted by Dr. Mindy Badia. Each of the three movies were subtitled.

  • Congratulations to Dr. Michael Hutchins and the many staff and faculty efforts in obtaining final ICHE approval of the Graduate Certificate in German.
