South Bend’s music scene can range anywhere from a coffee shop open-mic night to large productions such as off-broadway shows. There is music for everyone as our many venues offer space for lovers of all genres. This can include Jazz shows, musicals, rock performances, orchestras, and more. Whether you are a singer-songwriter or a band, South Bend welcomes every type of musician to perform or showcase their talent with the community!

This chapter will share some of the spots in town to find live music as well as some local musicians who perform different types of genres. As South Bend is very open and welcoming to all types of genres of music, you can always find a spot in town that fits your musical interests! I will highlight some artists ranging from jazz to alternative music, as well as a few smaller venues positioned around town where you can catch some local musician’s performances!
