The community of South Bend values local artists as they strive to establish diversity and display art pieces made by artists of all ages. Streets of downtown South Bend offer a wide variety of art experiences for locals to participate in. Whether you are an experienced artist or a newcomer, South Bend welcomes creatives with open arms.

Involvement within the Art scene is huge here in South Bend, especially in our local schools. Many businesses and organizations are partnered with the South Bend Community School Corporation to create annual contests and events to allow these young artists to display their art throughout the community. The Festival of Banners is a great example of this type of contest as students submit their designs for a chance to have their banner displayed for the public in downtown South Bend.
