What Makes a Good Case?

It can be challenging for the average person to know whether they qualify for SSD or SSI.

What to Expect After Your Social Security Disability Claim is Approved

For most people, all that they know is that they have health problems that are preventing them from working. The actual requirements to be approved can be much more elusive for the average person, and it differs depending on the case. There are a few main things that will typically contribute to a quality case, though.

First, Social Security will look at the severity of an individual’s health problems. They will also look at how regular an individual’s treatment is, and what is contained within their medical records. When looking at records, specific pieces of doctor support are often especially useful. The responsiveness of the claimant is also one of the prime factors in whether or not Social Security will approve them. Above all, though, Social Security cannot approve someone unless they meet the technical requirements.
