Accessibility

Resources are available to ensure that all students, regardless of their physical or mental health conditions, have access to the support and accommodations they need to succeed academically and personally.

Assessments

Students can access self-assessment tools to better understand their mental health status. These assessments can serve as a starting point for seeking further help and support.

Basic Necessities

Understanding that mental health is closely tied to having one’s basic needs met, IU provides resources to help students access essential services, including food, housing, and financial assistance.

Counseling

IU offers counseling services to support students through various challenges, whether they are academic, personal, or emotional. These services include individual counseling, group sessions, and workshops.

Diversity & Inclusion

Recognizing the importance of a supportive and inclusive environment, resources aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion are available to help ensure that all students feel welcomed and valued.

Healthy Lifestyle

Resources that promote a healthy lifestyle, including physical activity, nutrition, and stress management, are available to help students maintain a balanced and healthy life.

Substance Use & Management

For students dealing with substance use issues, resources are provided to support recovery and management, including counseling and support groups.

TimelyCare

In addition to the aforementioned resources, IU is proud to introduce TimelyCare, a new service providing FREE, 24/7 access to virtual care services for all IU students. TimelyCare offers on-demand support, making it easier than ever for students to get the help they need, when they need it. Students are encouraged to register for TimelyCare to take advantage of these services.

We strongly encourage all IU students to explore these resources and take proactive steps towards maintaining their mental health. By making use of the wide variety of support services offered, students can ensure they have the support they need to thrive during their time at IU.
