10 Alternative Music

Alternative music quickly became the guitar-based music of choice in the 1990’s with bands like Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, and Stone Temple Pilots leading the charge. These bands, as well as their lesser known counterparts, introduced a new generation of musicians to effects pedals. After the success of Boss in the 1980’s, musicians were anxious to reconnect with the effects that inspired this new development in music.
