19 Claire Coddington & Liz Stubblefield – DNA Repair

Claire Coddington is a junior majoring in Biology and Liz Stubblefield is a sophomore majoring in Biology. This work is an infographic that explains DNA repair to the public. Specifically, homologous recombination repair and how genetic mutations could lead to insufficient recombination repair leading to breast cancer. Professor Jill Schweitzer notes, “I want to celebrate this creative work because it is exceptionally original and interesting. Claire and Liz used engaging images and text to connect with a non-scientific audience!”
