51 Peighton Noel – Mass Shootings
Peighton Noel is a senior Psychology major with minors in Neuroscience and Criminal Justice. She is from Mooresville, Indiana and plans to graduate from IU East Online this Spring. The attached PowerPoint with audio is the portfolio she created in Theories of Crime and Deviance. Peighton chose a specific crime then researched the theories behind the crime and preventative measures. Her portfolio over mass shootings because of its rapidly increasing frequency and the discomfort she used to get when discussing the topic, it gave her a different and less uncomfortable perspective. Professor Carrie Mier notes, “Very well-researched, presented and formatted. Great exploration of structured action theory and super traits theory. Wonderful statistics and research. Very nicely done.”
