For more information on parks and recreation service provision, the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) provides reports, newsletters, and other sources of information. State level organizations are also common within the US (such as the Indiana Park and Recreation Association). These memberships provide continuing education, additional resources, and active networks to communicate with other professionals, and are the perfect resource to find more in-depth information about parks and recreation organizations in the United States.
