23 Heartfelt songs

Your heartfelt songs of love leave me in debt which I repay in subtle songs my own. You wear your heart upon your sleeve, well known is your intent to me, your Juliette. We lie in bed in darkened rooms, forget the gnarled teeth this world has to us shown, instead we look to see how much we’ve grown. We’ve climbed up to the canopy and yet the sky still stretches high above the trees with space below upon the forest floor. So abandon your skeptic faithlessness!  Yes, growth is hard but its necessary,  love is not a choice, nor is it a chore,  but relationships require maintenance.
