About the Author

Hello! My name is Katie Ahrens, and this is a picture of me at home. I am a young, aspiring author and a student at Indiana University. I take my classes all online and am working towards a degree in Techincal and Professional Writing (in other words, a fancy English degree).

I live in Door County, WI, which has changed much over the years. The area is beautiful–which is part of how it became a huge tourist attraction–and I love going on hikes to enjoy the scenery. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, reading, gaming, and, of course, writing. While I have written several smaller projects, this will be my first sizable book-type project and my first biography.
