9 2022: Environment, Society, and Culture of Costa Rica in Costa Rica

15-day trip at end of fall semester to complement two 3-credit hours SPAN-S390 online courses on Environment, Society, and Culture of Costa Rica. The on-site component includes travel to Costa Rica’s central pacific coast, specifically the city of Quepos and the town of Manuel Antonio. During the 15-day trip, students will attend Spanish immersion classes at Máximo Nivel, an international language school located in Manuel Antonio. At the same time, students will conduct an ethnographic research project as part of their activities.
