21 Living at a Student Residence Hall

Living at a Student Residence Hall

Throughout Madrid there are many private student residence halls that can cater to international students. Usually, the staff speak English, and the signs and indications (as well as norms) are also available in English.

At a residence hall there are many different options (and prices) depending on what you are looking for: an individual or double room (bathroom included in the room), extras such as a balcony, or an additional living area, number of meals per day, etc. Each residence halls will have their own pricing.

The residence halls are home to many types of students in Madrid: international students from English speaking countries, European Erasmus students and Spanish students.

Residence halls may also have additional common areas such as gyms, kitchenettes, game rooms, study centers, or meeting rooms. If you are uncertain about your linguistic comfort living in a homestay or student apartment, this is likely the ideal choice for you.
