19 Rubrics & Outcomes

Allison Chatterjee or a member of the Assessment Team will create the program-level competencies as Outcomes in Canvas at the subaccount level so that they are available for all of the courses being developed.

Any assessments used to evaluate program competencies need to incorporate these Outcomes using the Rubric tool. At this time, Outcomes do not have to be tied to specific questions on an assessment, but if an instructor wants to get that detailed, it should be encouraged.

When creating the rubric for the Assignment, make sure the Outcomes are not being used as part of the numeric grading.

The Assessment team will work with Sharon Wavle’s data team to create a dashboard for reviewing program competency mastery across the program.
