Start a New Course

When creating a new archetype course in Canvas, use the following guidelines for naming and storing the course.

1. Course Name (Required): [ProSARC – Semester/Year – Course Number/Course Title]
   1. EX: ProSARC – FA23 – W131 Reading Writing and Inquiry
2. Short name (Required) [ProSARC – Semester/Year – Course Number]
   1. EX: ProSARC – FA23 – W131
3. Content License (Required)
   1. Select “Private (Copyrighted)”
4. Department, School or College (Required)
   1. Select “ProS” as in the screenshot below

5. Click on the “Create course” button.

Import content as needed from the eDS ProS Tools and Template Canvas course.
