WileyPlus Integration Guide for IU Online ProS Courses

What is WileyPlus?

WileyPlus is an online learning platform that provides students with access to course materials, assignments, quizzes, and additional resources. It enhances student engagement and allows instructors to monitor performance efficiently.

How to Integrate WileyPlus

Follow the steps outlined below to successfully integrate WileyPlus into your Canvas course.

1. Adding the LTI/External Tool to an Assignment

1. Navigate to your Canvas course.
2. Go to the assignment you would like to add Wiley to and edit the page.
3. Select “External Tool” from the dropdown list at the bottom of the screen.
4. Choose “WileyPlus” from the list.
5. Select the appropriate assignment and click “Add Item.”
6. Publish the item to make it available to students.

2. Using the Redirect Tool

1. Go to “Settings” in your Canvas course.
2. Navigate to the “Apps” tab.
3. Search for “Redirect Tool” and click “Add App.”
4. Enter the WileyPlus URL and select options to display it in the navigation menu.
5. Save the settings and ensure the link is functional.

3. Linking Assignments as an LTI/External Tool

1. Navigate to your Canvas course.
2. Go to Modules and click “+” to add a new item.
3. Select “External Tool” from the dropdown.
4. Choose “WileyPlus” from the list.
5. Select the appropriate assignment and click “Add Item.”
6. Publish the item to make it available to students.
