Using Microsoft Teams
The working groups are divided into separate channels in Teams.
Contact Michael Dauro, the project manager coordinating the activities of each group within Teams, if you need to be added to additional channels or have a colleague added to the Team.
- General Channel
- Everyone working on the project will have access to this area
- Document as much communication with working partners as possible within Teams, particularly when decisions are being made
- Recommend placing Folders for course development into the Files area of the General channel so that SMEs can access content without having to get permission to the ID/Tech channel
- The Folder structure should look like this
- General>>Files>>Course Development
- Course Design Documents – job aids, presentation slide decks, and other documents that are relevant to all faculty and staff working on the project
- Video Development – A central repository for assets related to video production
- Individual Course folders – create a unique folder for each course in the program where IDs and faculty can collaborate and share documents
- General>>Files>>Course Development
- The Folder structure should look like this
- Assessing Courses and Program Success Channel
- IDs will likely want to be added to this channel to facilitate cross-team collaboration
- Instructional Design and Technology Support Channel
- For group collaboration and documentation
- Keep a running meeting notes file here and take notes at every meeting related to program-wide activity
