Do you recommend using headphones when recording lecture videos? If yes, what type of headphones would you recommend, and from where can I acquire them?
There are several great options for headphones out there. I personally use Logitech, which ranges in price. In general, we recommend something with noise cancelling qualities. Also consider how long you will be wearing them throughout the day (some sets are heavier than others).
To procure a headset, please ask your department.
How can I record a video and insert it into a module?
You will learn more about inserting videos in a Kaltura class. This topic is not covered in this training.
Where can I find contact information for helpful resources on all campuses?
If you would like further assistance with creating your course, you can contact your campus teaching and learning center.
If you need technical support, you can contact your campus IT Support Center.
What is interactive lecture?
It is basically a lecture or video that is broken up with engagement measures, like a question, survey, or discussion.

The webinar PowerPoint and Q&A transcripts will be made available online after all webinar sessions have been compiled. Randy Newbrough will send out a link to all participants when the Zoom recording becomes available.
