LETTER FROM THE ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS LEADERSHIP TEAM

As we reflect on 2024, we are proud of the remarkable strides Enterprise Systems has made in service of Indiana University’s mission and the IU 2030 strategic plan. This year brought significant growth, impactful collaborations, and transformative achievements, setting a strong foundation for an exciting future.
A key highlight of 2024 was the establishment of Departmental Solutions as a new area within the Enterprise Systems division. This group has already begun shaping and influencing our strategies and processes, driving meaningful improvements across the enterprise. We also welcomed back Enterprise Applications, who are rejoining our division with their extensive expertise and innovative spirit. Together, these teams are enhancing our ability to deliver unified, scalable, and transformative solutions to meet the university’s evolving needs.
Our commitment to enabling university-wide strategic initiatives was evident in several major accomplishments this year. The implementation of Slate for IU Indianapolis and its expansion for Bloomington empowered our admissions staff and streamlined recruitment processes. Similarly, the rollout of Stellic Degree Planning provided students with an intuitive, integrated tool for navigating their academic paths. With over 60 integrations successfully completed, Stellic reflects our dedication to creating seamless, user-centered systems. Additionally, the integration and data conversion of Symplectic Elements enhanced faculty reporting capabilities, while new tools for My IU Compliance further supported university-wide governance efforts.
We also leveraged Rivet 2.0 to improve the user experience of custom applications, demonstrating our commitment to modern, accessible design. Task force initiatives continue to bear fruit with the rollout of the Supervisor Toolkit, continuing opportunities for interns, the creation of the Integration Center of Excellence, and the implementation of the ES Metrics Dashboard, delivering actionable insights across the division.
The successful launch of the new indianapolis.iu.edu gateway site and improvements in website governance exemplify our alignment with university-wide goals and set a high standard for future digital initiatives. These efforts, coupled with the seamless execution of the IUPUI split, highlight the operational excellence that defines our team.
As we look ahead, we remain focused on modernizing systems, advancing accessibility, and enabling student success. The lessons learned and milestones achieved this year will guide our ongoing efforts to innovate, collaborate, and deliver excellence in support of IU’s mission.
