IU Graduate School Indianapolis Overview

Graduate Programs

IU Indianapolis (IUI) offers over 300 graduate degrees to students interested in pursuing a Ph.D., a professional degree, a master’s degree, or a graduate certificate. Several of these degrees are not offered by any other public institution in the state.

IUI confers both Indiana University and Purdue University graduate degrees.

A complete list of graduate and professional degrees offered at IUI can be found on the IUI Graduate Programs website.

This site also offers a list of minors that Ph.D. students can select from to broaden and complement their major field of study. If you are interested in a dual degree, be sure to talk with your program director about the policies on credit sharing and dual degrees. Students in accelerated programs (5-year bachelor’s to master’s) must meet specific policies to graduate with each degree, so contact your graduate program director early to discuss requirements. If you plan to enroll in a certificate and a master’s or doctoral degree, confirm the policies related to certificates within your school with your program director.
