The IU Graduate School Indianapolis Staff

The IU Graduate School Indianapolis is located in the University Library in Room 1170. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. You may reach us via email at gradoff@iupui.edu or via phone at 317-274-1577. We are happy to address any questions you might have, so do not hesitate to reach out! However, for program-specific information, you should contact your program directly.

Dr. Janice Blum is responsible for working with faculty to review and develop graduate and professional programs, courses, and policies. Dr. Blum has oversight of Indiana University and Purdue University research graduate programs in Indianapolis, as well as working with our campus professional schools on student admissions and services. Dr. Blum chairs the Graduate Affairs Committee (GAC) and serves on the Indiana University Graduate Faculty Council and the Purdue University Graduate Council. Dr. Blum is a Chancellor’s Professor and a recipient of the Bynum Mentoring Award at IUI. She enjoys mentoring graduate and professional students in research and career development.

Tabitha Hardy, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Graduate Education, Assistant Dean for Student Development and Academic Affairs; Director Preparing Future Faculty and Professionals; Advisor Underrepresented Professional and Graduate Student Organization (UPnGO)

Dr. Tabitha Hardy builds and sustains campus and community-academic, research, and career partnerships; prepares grants; and teaches career and professional development courses. She also recruits and advises graduate and professional students and acts as the director of the Preparing Future Faculty Professionals (PFFP) program, in addition to planning and administering the annual Getting You Into IU Indianapolis Open House and Institute and coordinating activities for summer programs.
