IU vs. Purdue alumni game watch

IU Kokomo alumni and all IU alumni residing in Howard and Tipton counties were invited to the Kokomo campus to watch the Hoosiers take on the Boilermakers. The game was streamed on the IQ Wall and there were around 55 alumni and friends of IU that attended this event.

Alumni Virtual Cooking Classes

The IUAA Kokomo Region virtually hosted 2 cooking classes; one in August and one in October. The first cooking class focused on creating a healthy fish dish and had around 27 alumni who attended. The second class was in partnership with the IUAA South Central Region where a healthy, fall-themed dessert was created with a cocktail. Approximately 25 alumni attended.

Alumni Angle Podcast

Launched an alumni podcast, where four alumni board members were interviewed and recorded. Two episodes have been posted and two are currently in post-production.

Seiberling Mansion decorating

The IUAA Kokomo Region Board decorated a room at the historical Seiberling Mansion for the second year in a row. Martha Warner, alumni board secretary, wrote a poem that highlighted each IU campus across the state and dressed as Mrs. Claus. Amber Moore, alumni board member, staffed the evening IU Kokomo sponsored. The evening was live streamed on Facebook, and due to COVID, only 30 people per evening were allowed inside the mansion. The previous year, 2020, nearly 500 people attended the IUK sponsored holiday evening event.
