Bills and Fines
Bills:
Users may receive a bill if they have lost an item that then needs to be replaced. Direct all bill-related questions to the Access Services Supervisor or Library Collections Coordinator.
Fines:
The IU Kokomo Library does not charge overdue fines. However, users may incur fines for materials that are overdue at other IU libraries. If you see that an individual incurs a fine for an item owned by our Library, please record this information in an email to the Access Services Supervisor. If a user inquires about their fine from another IU library, provide the contact information for that library or refer them to the Access Services Supervisor.
Fines that no longer appear in WorkFlows:
The Access Services Supervisor has a file of older fines that no longer appear in WorkFlows. If a user states they have a fine and WorkFlows is not displaying this fine, have the user speak to the Access Services Supervisor. Student Assistants are not to accept payment for any fines that do not currently display in WorkFlows.
