Computer Guest Account Policy

By offering guests user access to the computer network, we fulfill our library’s commitment to the Federal Depository Library Program, allowing citizens easy access to electronic government information. Guest accounts are valid for a period of 30 days. These can be renewed in the same way they were established.

Computer Guest Accounts are available for all non-IU affiliated Indiana residents who are eligible for an Indiana Resident (INRE) borrower’s card.

Only computers in the library building will accept our Computer Guest Accounts. Computer Guest Accounts will not work outside the library building or off-campus.

Priority use of library workstations is for students, faculty, and staff of Indiana University. Non-affiliated users with Computer Guest Accounts may be asked to relinquish the workstations to priority users.

The Indiana University Kokomo Library follows the Indiana University Appropriate Technology Use Policies available here: http://policies.iu.edu/policies/categories/information-it/it/IT-01.shtml
