Student Supervisor Responsibilities
At the Desk:
- Logins: LibInsight, LibChat, Tipasa, SRCS, iuklib email
- Answer and record patron questions/feedback
- Maintain in-person and virtual RHD services (if trained)
- Troubleshoot and report problems to appropriate person
- Supervise and backup SA on circulation duties
- Process ILL requests (if trained)
- Print forms as needed

On the Floor:
- Spot check shelf reading
- Check flags: record in LibInsight
- Fill paper
- Headcount
- Shelve government documents (if SA is not trained)
The SA will alternate every hour on the floor/desk and perform all normal circulation responsibilities.
When the SA and student supervisor are both at the desk, the student supervisor will perform a few floor duties, as listed above.
