10 Employment While Enrolled in the Program

Students may choose to work part-time while enrolled in the program. However, it is recommended students not work more than 10-12 hours per week. Working more than this may jeopardize the student’s ability to satisfactorily maintain program academic standards. Other employment responsibilities of the working student will not excuse the student from attendance of all academic, lab, and clinical rotation experiences.

While earning course credit, students may not get paid by any diagnostic sonography department during clinical program hours.
