33 Grade Reductions for Missing Case Log Entries
Students are required to enter all case logs. Therefore, students will be given the last 30 minutes of their clinical day to input their daily cases. Completing exams and patient care is the top priority. If unable to input cases at the end of the day, notify the Clinical Coordinator via email.
The Clinical Coordinator will review case log entries weekly to monitor clinical case log counts. The Clinical Coordinator will meet with the student if there is a suspected low case count. If it has been determined all cases have not been logged, the following penalties will occur:
- First occurrence- written warning
- Second occurrence- full letter grade reduction
- Third occurrence- course failure
Students who fail the course for this reason will be placed on academic probation. Once placed on academic probation, any further infractions will result in program dismissal
