16 Clinical Rotation Overview

How Sites are Selected

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing students with a modality-specific clinical ranking form.  This form provides students the opportunity to indicate their preference of clinical sites; students can be assigned up to two clinical sites per semester. Clinical site preference will be granted based on student rank order of acceptance into the program and the availability of positions at a particular clinical affiliate. The Program Director and Clinical Coordinator will do their best to place students at their top selected clinical sites while in the program.

Clinical Hours

Students are responsible for transportation to and from clinical rotations throughout the program. Standard clinical course hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. These hours can vary based on modality and imaging center, for a total of 32 recorded hours in eValue per week.
