Foreword

The purpose of this piece of literature is to try and get an “A” in my poetry class. It’s not as easy as you might think. Don’t think too much of the whole “Jay Em” thing either. I’ve written a variety of books and short stories, and that is merely my pen name. My real name is Julius Mason. I have somewhat of a gift for writing, but I am not here to put that gift on display. I’m just trying to get some good grades so I don’t lose my scholarship. I don’t care about my writing. I think it’s pretty good. How do you write good poetry? Just write short stories and replace words with line breaks and punctuation. I’m just learning some stuff and hopefully you are at least a little bit entertained.
