14 To Live a Life

To Live a Life

My life, like a character in a book
The Absolute: a beginning; an end.
Choosing to live a hero or a crook
The power to change your path like the wind

To live a life of regret and sorrow
To expect a gold spoon on a platter
Rushing your days; yearning for tomorrow
Not slowing down for those things that matter

Being a vile creature to those who care
About your life trajectory and plan
Each day passes quick: death makes your aware
Draw those you love; goodbyes while you still can.
To Live a life full don’t fear the ending
Treat each new day, with its own beginning.
