Purpose
We include summaries of all intern work on the ePortfolio Showcase website to be shared with showcase visitors to search and find your work. Complete all of the fields below for us to accurately include you and your work. Enter all names and information as you would like it to appear in the online showcase. Verify with your supervisors and team to ensure correct spelling of their names. We do not verify or edit for you and will submit exactly as submitted.
Instructions
Gather this information and submit it to the Microsoft Form linked at the bottom of this assignment to ensure we have accurate information to share! We need the following information:
Intern Name:
Intern Major(s):
Intern Year: (example: Sophomore, Junior)
Supervisor Name(s): Include Dr., Mr., Ms., etc. and you may include all people at your site who contributed to your growth.
Supervisor Department and School/Hospital: Use the fully spelled out name, verify with your supervisor that this is correct.
Internship page link: this should be a direct link to the Internship page of your ePortfolio. It will appear on the ePortfolio Showcase website.
Project Title: (this will also be printed on a table tent with your name at the event)
Summary of Project or Internship Work not to exceed 200 words (not a scientific abstract):
- This should be a basic, broad summary of what a showcase visitor can expect to learn when they visit your table. This is similar to the elevator pitch you wrote previously.
- You may include a scientific abstract on your ePortfolio but the summary here should be written toward wider audiences to appeal to all visitors of the showcase.
Once you have gathered the information above, submit to the summary form in Canvas.
