Mock Interviews

Your first professional interview can be intimidating. Career services professionals are here to teach you the basics of interviewing and how to write and revise resumes. They are offering online meetings and mock interviews to help you prepare. Sign up for a mock interview to prepare for your LHSI interview! We included a link to your career office in the email accepting you for interviews.

As a reminder, we have more students interviewing than we can place. Using career services help can make a difference in getting the internship you want because you will be more confident and prepared.

Optional Practice

IU Indianapolis’ career office for School of Science students (PREPs) offers a virtual mock interview tool via Big Interview. School of Science students can click on the green Register for Free button to register with their school email address to practice their interview skills and be scored by an AI model. They even have custom sets of practice interviews for LHSI clinical positions and LHSI lab positions! You can check out how to select those options via this video.

Reach out to any of the ambassadors if you need help setting up an appointment with your career services and/or the Office of Student Employment. All instructions for setting up a virtual mock interview/any other career services are listed on their websites. Our office does not do these appointments but we’re here to help you sign up for one!
