They say relationships are more difficult for intelligent people.

“They” just means the usual psychologists.

If you used that sharp sarcastic wit on your ex-boyfriends,

well, I can see why the relationships did not work out.

On past girlfriends. They don’t like it either.

The intellectual condescension wears on significant others.

So, I understand you could not be married to all those

Men. But I really am married to all my ex-girlfriends.

One fixes the car, another cooks gourmet meals,

And another gets possessive when other women leer at me.
