If you’re interested in getting hands-on experience in tech, a great way to do that is through volunteer opportunities and part-time jobs.
Volunteer opportunities
- The mission of the Laurie Burns McRobbie Serve IT Clinic is to apply the technology skills of undergraduate students in order to build capacity in the local nonprofit community to better serve their own missions. They provide internship credits to students who want to work together use their skills to make our local community a better place.
- IU Corps’ Student Agile Response Team (START) offers students the chance to maintain websites and do other work for nonprofits.
Part-time jobs
- UITS who often employs IU students in a variety of technical capacities.
- IU’s student employment listings include other technical part-time job opportunities.
