AMPATH Consortium General Updates

Global Education Course:

The AMPATH Global Orientation course is LIVE as a PILOT through July 31, 2024!

We would love for you to review it, think about if it will be helpful for the audiences with which you interact, and give abundant feedback (there is a survey at the end of end module [section] within the course). It’s meant as a starting place for everyone—Kenyan students coming to the US, Ghanian faculty interested in getting involved with AMPATH, Mexicans and Nepalis who are curious about starting a multisite project together, corporate partners, etc. We hope it will build AMPATH cohesiveness and a common knowledge base/vocabulary despite of its limitations.

We estimate the whole course will take about 100 min if you look at every part, but most audiences will only need certain sections that are assigned on the main page with time frames estimated (3-20 min each).

You’ll need to make an IU guest account to take the course if you are not at IU. It is a 1-min process that only requires your name and email.

Please distribute to AMPATH core faculty this summer as we seek to gain meaningful feedback before distribution to those new to AMPATH. We are especially eager for input from host site partners and would appreciate a push for intentional feedback from them.
