8 Sending the flyer
On the week of the speakers visit send the flyer announcement email out on Monday and Friday the day of. The easiest way to make sure they get sent out on time is a delayed email but that is a matter of preference.
Before you do set this up, you should get the flyer approved by the Delegate.
After that you can get the delayed email set up.
Who to send it to
Depending on your speaker series here are who you need to send it to.
ALWAYS BCC THE O’NEILL GROUPS
- G&M – Send to G&M Faculty (O’Neill School Bloomington Faculty Governance and Management) with speaker host CC’d
- PAPF – Send to PAPF Faculty (O’Neill School Bloomington Faculty Policy Analysis and Public Finance) and O’Neill School Bloomington Faculty Emeritus with speaker host CC’d
- EPOL – Send to EPOL Faculty (O’Neill School Bloomington Faculty Environmental Science) with David Konisky and Nikos Zirogiannis CC’d
- HPOL – No need to send any flyers. HPOL Speaker Series is mostly run by doctoral students. They will circulate the flyer to whatever group they send to.

Insert a copy of the flyer into the email. Attach the PDF copy to the email.
