I asked my father how
He could be two places at once.
TV. Our couch. TV. Our couch.
It was magic.

I knew he sang at church.
I knew he had a beard just like Duane Allen.
I knew he was once in a traveling quartet.

I asked my father how
He could be two places at once.
He smiles and winks with a
mischievous grin.

I know he goes to work.
but his work looks a lot different
than bright lights and screaming fans.
He must be magic.
