17 Beauty in Nature

Trees thrash in the wind.
Holding out for hope of rest,
Spinning in despair.
Crashing into earth and rock
Before the harsh wind subsides.

A flower’s purpose,
Nectar is wine of the earth.
Bees flit here and there.
Renewal begins now, here
The cycle continues on.

Now here the birds move.
Singing their song joyfully.
Harbingers of life,
Earth’s melodic messengers,
Bringing forth nature’s choir.

Tides will ebb and flow.
The ocean’s frothy waves tell
Of a mermaid’s song.
Even now the beauty sounds
And tells of days long ago

Beauty in nature
Shows in snapshots all around.
Earth lives on to tell
Stories of ancient wisdom,
From nature’s glorious gifts.
