Sensitive, but I don’t always show it.
Happy to go with the flow most of the time.
Angry about the injustice in the world; however,
Not able to share my anger with everyone.
Always second-guessing.
Hoping to get back on the stage one day
Optimistic that my feelings of insecurity will fade (maybe?)
Currently wish I could get away somewhere.
“How will we survive this latest heartbreak in the world?”
Sleep is something that eludes me–is this midlife?
Time is passing too quickly for me–but
Eternally grateful for my health, my family, and my time here on earth.
Teaching was my plan B…I let plan A slip by
Life hasn’t always been what I expected it to be, but
Everyone feels that way, I suppose (don’t they?)
Ready to face a new horizon.
