Bernheim Arboretum & Forest

Beautiful trails and views! We stopped here to get some exercise and enjoy some time outdoors on our way home from Bardstown Ky. Very well-kept forest. Loved seeing the Giants! Thought it was cute that they had “giant footprints” throughout the park that you could follow to find the Giants. Lots of trails and ponds. Very beautiful way to get in touch with nature. Very kid friendly and pet friendly. Make sure to check out the Canopy tree walk as well! The views are gorgeous. Could easily spend at least 2 days here hiking.

They do ask for a donation to park, usually about $10 a car. Beautiful place for pictures with family or friends, especially in the fall and springtime. Although pictures in the winter with a fresh snow is just as beautiful.
