These are important components to keep in mind when writing so that you can be organized, and learn the basic outline to follow when writing. This can allow you to write your music in sections to keep you from getting overwhelmed!

This information is a basic guide to the formatting that many songwriters follow when first beginning their musical journey! With that in mind, we will be specifically taking a look at the basic structures surrounding songwriting. This includes: intro, verse, and chorus, as well as pre-chorus and bridge. Within each section of a song, you have the ability to add your own elements that you believe to fit best, depending on your genre or overall emotion that fits the song.
