This article expands on the themes discussed in The Pedagogy of Decolonial Development Futures: building on decolonizing past and present in development studies teaching praxis by elucidating the importance of contesting colonization in university programs and classrooms and offering pedagogical approaches to include marginalized populations in pedagogical materials.
