The chapter, The Pedagogy of Decolonial Development Futures: Building on Decolonizing Past and resent in Development Studies Teaching Praxis provides a history about the contemporary thinking of decolonizing in this field, as well as a pedagogy practitioners’ perspectives on what this means for future development studies education.
This Global Social Theory website expands on the insights from this chapter by providing free resource for students, teachers, academics and others interested in social theory from a global perspective. It provides useful readings and pedagogical materials, including course modules, concerning decolonizing education. The site is being developed and resourced collaboratively and will be added to on a regular basis. It hopes to draw upon the knowledge and expertise of all those who read it.
